On January 9th, Jaxson turned 6 months old! We celebrated the day with his first official feeding of rice cereal. It didn't go over too well. But he sure loved seeing his daddy play airplane with his spoon.
Is it bad to laugh at your children? Because so far, I've been a terrible parent if so. :) We also found out that Jax is favoring his left hand. Corey is loving this! He is starting his sport training early. Apparently being a lefty for golf is great since he can train to swing righty and be strong in both arms. (I'm learning all of this)
He is starting to say more letter sounds. He started with "lalalalala" and has progressed to "dadadadada". Along with those sounds he is blowing raspberries and laughing when raspberries are blown on his belly and armpits.
Jax and mommy have reading time in the morning and lately it has been out of Shel Silverstein "A Light in the Attic". I forgot how good his poems are and how political too.
We celebrate not only this new 2014 year but also the joy of 6 months being Jaxson's parents; loving him more and more each day!
