Sick baby

Well, it took 14 weeks for Jaxson's first cold to hit. We are currently on Day 2 of snotty, coughing, cranky weather. It's fitting that yesterday, Day 1, was also the first real gloomy day of Fall. The streak continues with today's forecast. 

Corey and I feel like we hit the jackpot with our pediatrician. He lets us email him and responds quickly. Instead of lugging a congested baby out in the dampness, I can telll him the symptoms and get a helpful response. 

So far the humidifier and NoseFrida, or as I call it 'snot sucker', are working well. I've had three showers of mucousy puke and changed multiple runny diapers. The doc said this is all normal and to keep him informed. 

My poor baby sounds pitiful when he breathes but still manages a smile for most of the time. 

Please pray for a quick recovery, for no one else to get sick, and for this momma to know what to do when my little man looks so pitiful.
