Family time

We're back from an unintentional but needed hiatus. Corey and I have been traveling and hosting family and friends in order to show off our little man. He's growing incredibly fast! Details of that coming soon :)

Let's recap the last few weeks:

We are blessed to have amazing family on both sides. Because of this, we feel comforted to know that if anything should happen to Corey and myself, Jax will be taken care. When Todd and Anna came to visit we asked if they would be Jax's godparents. I had a whole speech I wanted to say on how wonderful and a godly couple they are and how we know he will be raised lovingly, but of course I was so emotional I couldn't get anything out. :) They graciously accepted and we are so thankful for them!

The next weekend, we traveled to Danville for Labor Day weekend. My girlfriends and their families were getting together for our babies to meet. I love that I'm still close to my hometown friends and that we can share in new adventures together.
Mya, Sienna, and Jaxson finally met.
(P.s. The two girls were born the same day, 5 hours apart! They are 6 weeks older than Jax)

Proud papas

The week after Labor Day, Corey was gone for work so Jax and I went back to Mamaw and Grandpa's house. He got to experience the Beef House where his mom and dad had their wedding reception. He also spent time hanging out with his grandparents :)

We returned to the dogs and started the weekend with getting our couch.
Jax has room to do tummy time and the rest of us can all lay together in our own spot.

Henry made a friend when Amy came to visit last week.

It's so great to have so many people we love make the trip to visit us!

Thank you one and all for visiting, calling, texting, and keeping up with us!
